Am 22.9.2005 gewann dieKomposition"European Soul"desÖsterreichers Peter Jedlicka einen Preis bei einem Kunstwettbewerb desNÖ-Kulturforumszum Thema"Auf der Suche nach der europäischen Seele".Dieser Song hat durchaus das Zeug dazu, zu einer neuenEuropa Hymnezu werden, da er leichter ( z.B. auch für Schulchöre ) zu singen ist als Beethoven´s"Ode an die Freude", und ein einzigartiges Konzept zurEinbeziehung aller europäischen Sprachenhat:Jeweils die erste Strophe des Songs soll in Englisch gesungen werden, die zweite Strophe und die kurze Endstrophe jedoch in derSprache jenes Landes, in dem es aufgeführt / aufgenommen wird.Das heißt auch:mitmachen erwünscht!Derzeit gibt es nur die englisch-deutsche Originalversion von Peter Jedliczka,Übersetzungen in andere Sprachen werden noch gesucht!
